Brief History
Jessica Brown Findlay was born on September 14th, 1989 in Cookham, Berkshire. She is an English actress.
She attended Furze Platt Senior School in Maidenhead. At the end of her GCSEs, Brown Findlay was accepted to a number of ballet schools but chose to go to the Arts Educational School, because of the A-level courses it provided and its pastoral care. She attended for two years and in her second year had three operations on her ankles, the last of which went wrong; after this she was told that she would never dance again. She said that she always had acting in the back of her mind, but was never really able to go out and try it. After encouragement from an art teacher, she finished her education at Arts Educational School, Tring Park and then onto a Fine Art course at St Martin’s.While there, she took up acting classes.

Most Famous Role
If she is as good at her future roles as she was in Downton Abbey, she is going to become a household name.
Downton Abbey
Jessica plays the middle daughter of the Grantham family, Lady Sybil. Sybil is by far the most adventurous and forward-thinking of the entire family, even wearing pants (!) which is pretty risque considering that the show takes place in the early 1900's. She was on the show for three seasons before deciding to leave. Her character was killed off in childbirth. Lady Sybil was a favorite on the show. By far the kindest character to the waitstaff, she was much loved up and downstairs in Downton Abbey. In season two, she eloped with the chauffeur to live in Ireland. She returned to Downton for the birth of her child.
Even the cast of a 1920's drama can be modern.
